Active Body Control, or ABC, is the Mercedes-Benz brand name used to describe hydraulic fully active suspension, that allows control of the vehicle body motions and therefore virtually eliminates body roll in many driving situations including cornering, accelerating, and braking. Although it is a great Suspension System it is very expensive to maintain & repair. With our ABC Suspension Conversion Kit, you will be able to eliminate the Original ABC Suspension, get your vehicle at the correct height & get back the vehicle control that you used to have. They require NO modification to your vehicle and are OEM designed to "Bolt on" without any welding or cutting. SL-Class AMG (R230) Models Include: SL55 AMG V8 Engines Only it will NOT fit Vehicles with V12 Engines.
Converting a Mercedes-Benz ABC Suspension without the Sway Bars is extremely dangerous and makes the vehicle very unstable! Our Conversion Kit comes with the Necessary Sway Bars and Links to properly convert the vehicle. Professional Installation with proper tools and lift is REQUIRED! It will take a minimum 15 Hours of labor and reprogramming the ABC out of the system so no warning lights come on. Old Failed or Aftermarket Motor Mounts might interfere with the Sway Bar Installation.
If this is your case then NEW OEM ONLY Motor Mounts are Required to be installed at the time of the conversion. Please make sure that the problem with your vehicle is with your Original Part. Do not trust your safety to companies outside the U.
